Thank you for a lovely stay at The Beeches. I really enjoyed meeting you, and Kim, and my time with you was splendid in every way – comfortable room in a beautiful house with a beautiful garden; flowers in bedroom (pheasant’s eye!) AND bathroom; coffee and cake on arrival; excellent shower; and delicious breakfast (with your own apple juice and damson jam); plus the Russian pictures everywhere! You added extra kindnesses which I really appreciated during and after the nightingales – mint tea in my Contigo, and a hot water bottle in my bed when I got back.
I will be recommending The Beeches to anyone within earshot! Seriously, I will definitely tell other Glyndebourne friends and potential nightingale enthusiasts, and look forward to another stay.
