We offer a series of seasonal horticultural and related courses at The Beeches Barcombe. Each course is presented by a lecturer with expertise in the specific subject.
16th December 2019 - Half day
Learn how to make a traditional moss-based wreath with Georgia Miles from The Sussex Flower School. Then decorate it with seasonal accessories: fresh foliage, cinnamon sticks, dried fruits, pine cones and ribbons. Participants take home their festive creation.
Time: 10.00am – 1.30pm
Please arrive at 9.30am for a prompt 10.00am start.
Minimum - maximum 10 on each course
Half day courses will include all materials where relevant, refreshments.

Georgia Miles is the founder of The Sussex Flower School. Her background is eclectic from a degree in Art History from Edinburgh University to the Higher Diploma in Floristry via massage and aromatherapy, teacher training, a lot of travel, yoga, three children and a passion for gardening.
She ran her own successful wedding floristry business for several years before concentrating on teaching. She is a specialist in historical floral design and has also taught on the National Certificate Levels 2, 3 and 4 - The Higher Diploma in Floristry - at Plumpton College in East Sussex.
